A code review shows what state a piece of software is really in. We have worked to Clean Code Development since 2022 and review your code by the same standards.
- Structure and architecture: is the software divided sensibly and can it be extended?
- Readability and maintainability: can new developers find their way around?
- Tests: what is covered and what is not?
- Security: handling of credentials, input and outdated dependencies
- Result: a written report with findings by urgency, and a call about it

How it works
From the assignment to the report in four steps.

Clarifying the assignment
In the first call we clarify the goal, scope and technology, and tell you up front whether we are the right people for it.
2.
Access to the code
You give us read access to the source code. We do not need access to your production systems.
3.
The review
We read the code, run the build and the tests, and note every finding with its location.
4.
Report and call
You receive the report and go through it with us. We make changes only if you ask us to.

These are guide figures, not quotes: all of them are non-binding and exclude VAT. We name the price for your project in our offer.
For clients in Switzerland: code review CHF 275 per hour, changes CHF 200 per hour or CHF 1,600 per day.

What is a code review?
In a code review another person reads the code and checks it for errors, clarity, security and maintainability. We offer it as a review from the outside, whoever wrote the software.
What does a code review cost?
We bill by effort, at €220 per hour. How many hours it takes depends on size and goal. We estimate that up front, without obligation.
Which technologies do you review?
Our focus is .NET with C#, ASP.NET Core and Blazor, plus SQL databases and Azure. For other technologies we tell you up front whether we are the right people.
Do you need access to our production systems?
No, read access to the source code is enough. On request we sign a non-disclosure agreement first.
Do you also fix the findings?
On request, yes, by effort. Your team can also work through the findings itself.
